Most sites make AI guess what they do. We wrote it down in the one file the assistants look for.
We published an llms.txt at the root of the site: a plain, structured summary of who we are, what we sell, what it costs, and every page worth reading. It's the map an AI assistant wants but almost no local site provides.
We generate it from the same source of truth as the website, so it can never drift out of date, and it rebuilds automatically on every deploy. Then we pointed to it from robots.txt so the crawlers find it. Total ongoing effort: zero, because a machine maintains it.
