We stopped hiding our own email from AI

We sell 'be readable by AI' while our host was scrambling our contact address from the exact crawlers we optimize for. Caught it. Fixed it.

What we did

Our CDN had email-address obfuscation switched on, which rewrites your address into a scrambled blob so scrapers can't read it. Great against spambots, quietly terrible for the AI assistants we want reading us. We turned it off.

How we did it

One toggle in the CDN's scrape-shield settings, then we verified from the outside that the raw address now sits in the page in plain text. Small change, real signal: a machine-readable way to reach a business is one of the things an assistant checks before recommending it.
